Barista Space The Grey is a manual burr coffee grinder. It is equipped with a precision steel burr and offers grind adjustment, allowing you to grind coffee beans for various brewing methods, from espresso to French Press. A great choice for both beginner coffee enthusiasts and more advanced home baristas who value high quality and well-designed equipment at a reasonable price.
Design
The grinder is available in two colour versions: black and gray. Both feature a wooden, waxed knob that fits well on the flat (17.5cm long) handle made of stainless steel. The incisions on the body, designed to improve grip, are made very aesthetically, giving the simple cylinder an additional texture. The body is made entirely of aerospace-grade aluminum, making it quite lightweight (543 g) and pleasant to the touch. The external dimensions are 15.2 cm in height and 5 cm in diameter. The grinder will be comfortable to use for everyone regardless of whether they have large or small hands. Inside the grinder, there is a steel shaft that rotates a 40 mm conical stainless steel burr on two machine bearings, and the main chamber holds up to 24 grams of beans. The lower container screws on with a thread, ensuring it stays securely in place.
The grinder is solid – you can feel that it can serve for years without the need for replacement with something more advanced. It will work well for both home use and as a travel solution.
Grind Adjustment
The grinder is equipped with grind adjustment, allowing you to grind coffee for various brewing methods. It can easily handle daily grinding for dripper, French Press, AeroPress, Chemex, moka pot, and occasional grinding for espresso won’t be a problem either. The grind size is adjusted quickly and easily using the dial located under the burr. The scale is divided into steps, making it easier to precisely adjust the grinder.
